Fiori nella Rocca

“Fiori nella Rocca” is a charming spring event held every year in the picturesque Visconti-Venetian fortress of Lonato del Garda. It is a market exhibition dedicated to the world of plants, bringing together a passion for gardening, culture and scenic beauty in a single setting. After numerous editions, the event has now become a national benchmark for enthusiasts, collectors and those simply curious.

During the three days of the event, the fortress is transformed into a veritable open-air garden, filled with nursery owners and growers from all over Italy, specialising in rare and high-quality plants. Among the stalls, you can find a wide variety of species: from roses to orchids, from aromatic plants to succulents, right through to citrus fruits and unusual varieties that are hard to find elsewhere. Alongside the plants, there are also artisans offering objects, furnishings and accessories for the garden and home, helping to create a refined and sophisticated atmosphere.

The event is not limited to simply displaying and selling plants, but also offers a wide range of supporting activities. Visitors can take part in workshops, hands-on sessions and talks focusing on plant care, floral art and other creative disciplines. There are also guided tours of the Rocca and the museum spaces, offering an opportunity to explore the historical and cultural aspects of the site in greater depth.
