Tradition, culture and food and wine are intertwined in Bardolino with the colours and flavours of autumn, in this festival where the absolute protagonist is Bardolino Novello: the first fruit of the harvest; a wine that is therefore young, soft and fruity.
This popular festival, which enlivens the centre of Bardolino in the last days of the summer season, features numerous events and shows. During the five days of the festival, the following events stand out: evening music concerts, food and wine stalls, promotional stands for Bardolino wine, guided tastings organised by the Consorzio Tutela Vino Classico DOC, parades of music bands, theatrical performances, conferences, meetings on the subject of wine, and exhibitions of the best grapes and the best Bardolino wine.
A wine with important and unmistakable organoleptic characteristics: brilliant ruby red colour, delicately fruity and fragrant, dry, soft taste with balance and considerable drinkability. This is thanks to a particularly favourable terroir, where the grapes can exalt their colour, fragrance and taste. The morainic hills and Lake Garda are, in fact, the essential backdrop where Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and Molinara are the main indigenous grape varieties of the area.
