The municipality, which borders on Malcesine, Ferrara di Monte Baldo, San Zeno di Montagna and Torri del Benaco, stretches out over an area of about 50 km2, with an altitude that climbs up from the 69 m a.s.l. of the lake Garda to the 2200 m of Cima Telegrafo.
In Brenzone, tradition and history remain very much alive in the fishing villages and rural neighbourhoods, and in the restaurants and hostelries visitors can sample typical recipes in which the area’s olive oil brings out the flavourful best in the delicate fish caught in the lake and the distinctive, rich fragrance of the local dairy and mountain produce.
Especially worth mentioning is the "Acquafresca" sports centre in Assenza and the Sailing Club in Castelletto, which take advantage of the excellent sailing area the lake offers.
Opposite Assenza is the little island of Trimelone, once used as a storage area for military supplies.
In 2005, a cable car line was inaugurated in Prada, on Mount Baldo, offering unrivalled views, as well as being the departure point for a number of cycle lanes and trekking routes.
