Parco Natura Viva

The Natura Viva Park is a modern centre for the protection of endangered species, spread over 40 hectares and divided up into three distinct areas:

The Safari Park: a fascinating route visitors can drive through in their own cars, offering the chance to discover the animals of the savannah. Giraffes, lions, cheetahs and hyenas are just some of the creatures you’ll have the chance to admire as part of your safari adventure!

The Fauna Park: a relaxing walking route through a wood of oak trees, which is home to animals from all of the continents, and where visitors can also admire the Tropical Greenhouse and the Rettilarium. Along this surprising route, a series of natural barriers make it possible to observe the animals and surrounding nature in complete safety, with the chance to admire rhinoceroses, hippopotamuses and sitatungas, or watch primates from a whole new perspective, perhaps stopping to enjoy the show from the safari bar. This is an experience that offers an entirely new look at biodiversity in all its splendour.

The Extinction Park: this is a step on from the Dinosaur Park, present here since 1978 and now enhanced with new ideas and spectacular life-size reproductions that will help visitors take a trip right into the fascinating history of evolution. From the conquest of dry land to the appearance of the first enormous mammals, visitors will be projected millions of years back into the remote past, right to the very origin of life on Earth.

During opening hours, visitors to the park will find a self-service restaurant, bar, picnic areas, play areas and a souvenir shop.
The ticket is valid for entry to all three areas of the Park.

Advice for visitors to the Park
On the busiest days, especially on holidays and at weekends, it’s best to start your visit to the Park with a walk through the Fauna Park, so as to avoid the queues and slowdowns you’re liable to encounter for the trip round the Safari Park by car.
