The Frecce Tricolori return to Lake Garda!
So look to the sky for the end-of-summer 2023 event in Desenzano to admire the aerobatics and scenography that make the Frecce Tricolori national pride in the world!
The formation will consist of 10 aircraft, 9 of which in formation and one soloist, and they are the most numerous and famous aerobatic patrol in the world.
The rich flight programme, with no less than 18 figures and lasting almost half an hour, is set to leave everyone speechless. During the figures, the Frecce Tricolori usually perform four different aerobatics:
The schneider is a turn performed horizontally at maximum wing angle.
The looping is the manoeuvre commonly referred to as the turn of death.
The tonneau is an aerobatic manoeuvre consisting of a helical movement of the aircraft. There are two types of tonneau: the fast tonneau and the four-stage tonneau. The first is performed by exploiting the maximum excursion of the ailerons and demonstrating a high ability to rotate on its own axis (roll rate). The second performs the rotation on its own axis in 4-strokes, i.e. making a break every 90 degrees.
The performance will be visible from many towns around Lake Garda and the show will be breathtaking: you can watch the show from the beaches, from the lakeside or for those who want a unique experience from the middle of the Benaco, by hiring a boat.
