Christmas in Garda

The warmth and magic of Christmas markets along the lakeside.

For years, Garda has lit up the Lake's winter season with the most picturesque Christmas markets in the area. According to tradition, the lovely lakeside will host many huts and stands, colored by Christmas decorations and lights, which will offer visitors gift ideas and ornaments, as well as wine and food from the Veronese tradition and more.

At the exhibition tent which, as every year, has been set up in Piazza Municipio, you will have the chance to taste typical produce and ingredients from the locations which, in turn, will host the event: you cannot miss the week which is dedicated to the Bavarian city of Beilngries, the twin town of Garda. It will bring the evenings alive with traditional music and delicious culinary specialties.
You can also admire the famous 'Presepe del Borgo', the nativity scene which is set up with great craftsmanship by a group of volunteers from Garda.

Many further events are planned around this program: exhibitions, concerts, Christmas quires and the Epiphany bonfire, to be admired as you taste sweet Sanvigilini biscuits and steaming hot spiced wine.
