Christmas in Salò

Salò dresses up in magic: everything you need to know about ‘Natale d’Incanto 2025’ (Enchanted Christmas 2025), combining innovation and tradition

From 29 November 2025 to 18 January 2026, Salò will transform its historic centre into an enchanting Christmas village with the ‘Natale d’Incanto’ event. This year sees the debut of a major new feature: the Christmas Markets in the Fossa, set up from 5 December to 6 January in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II. Sixteen wooden huts will host local artisans with decorations, unique gifts and gastronomic specialities, alongside a food and wine village offering hot chocolate and traditional sweets.

The beating heart of the festivities remains Piazza Vittoria with its ice rink (open until 18 January) and the imposing illuminated tree in front of the Town Hall, a true photographic symbol of the holidays. For the little ones, Piazza Serenissima becomes a fairy-tale kingdom with a vintage carousel and an inflatable Santa Claus (6 December-6 January).

The highlight comes with New Year's Eve on the gulf: a party at the Baden Powell Garden and a fireworks display at midnight, with breathtaking views of the lake. There are also antique markets on the lakefront (14/12 and 4/01).
