Festivalettura Mantova

Mantua is preparing to host the Festivaletteratura, one of the most eagerly awaited cultural events in Italy, to be held from 3 to 7 September 2025.

For five unforgettable days, the historic city of Mantua, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, will be transformed into a lively stage for encounters. The festival offers a wide variety of events, from encounters with internationally and Italian renowned writers and poets, to enthralling readings, theatre and music performances, concerts, and art installations.

The city's festive atmosphere and intimate atmosphere allow visitors and artists to enjoy a unique experience, exploring on foot the streets, squares, churches, theatres and palaces hosting the events. The Festivaletteratura is an event for everyone, with a special focus on children and adolescents, for whom there are numerous dedicated meetings, shows and workshops.
