San Martino's feast

A great celebration for the Patron Saint with the Palio and the Fire of the Voltoni.
The city is preparing to celebrate its Patron Saint, San Martino.

All of Peschiera del Garda gets involved, through its organizations and parishes. They are organized by the Township to create a program full of events that enliven the celebrations and offer tourists the perfect opportunity for a fall trip to Peschiera del Garda.

A program full of variety is combined with the traditional initiatives of the Saint's Feast, with entertainment, a market fair, a Venetian-style rowing competition, lucky dips, music, roast chestnuts, theater shows, Lugana DOC wine tastings, local specialties, hot drinks and a firework display with music.

The traditional "Palio di San Martino" will take place: it is a Venetian-style rowing race held to honor the Patron Saint. The award ceremony will be held in the afternoon, with the town's musical band.
On November 11 (the day of San Martino), Holy Mass will be celebrated in the afternoon, along with solemn religious celebrations in the beautiful parish church of San Martino, on Piazza Ferdinando di Savoia.

After the celebrations, the great musical firework display "The Fire of the Voltoni" will take place on the 16th-century Voltoni bridge over the Canale di Mezzo. An unforgettable experience!
