Tulipanomania: Spring Awakening at Sigurtà Garden Park
From the second half of March until the first few days of May, Parco Giardino Sigurtà celebrates spring with Tulipanomania, Italy’s most spectacular tulip display.
Over a million tulips, alongside daffodils, hyacinths and grape hyacinths, along with enchanting alliums, bring colour to the park, creating stunning natural displays.
Each year brings new surprises:
- from the show garden, which has almost doubled in size since 2025 (200 varieties including the peach-coloured Apricot Impression, the fringed-petalled Flaming Parrot and the deep purple Negrita, spread across 4,000 square metres)
- to the newly designed flowerbeds, inspired by abstract art
The walk along the avenues thus becomes an immersive experience amidst ever-changing shades, scents and shapes.
And then:
- 8 benches and 30 flower-filled balconies - 100 floating flowerbeds in the 4 ponds
- a sinuous flowerbed with thousands of bulbs that accompanies visitors along the Viale delle Fontanelle.
- 5 totems describing the history of the tulip
- groves of second-generation free-form yellow tulips and daffodils
- a beautiful late-flowering variety of allium (Gigantic Star) which can be admired from mid-April until June and is loved by pollinating insects such as bees and butterflies.
Internationally acclaimed, Tulipanomania received the World Tulip Innovation Award at the World Tulip Summit in the Netherlands in 2024 and was named the World’s Best Tulip Festival by the World Tulip Society in 2022.
