The rolling moraine hills, the green grass, the olive leaves rustling in the breeze – there you have the perfect picture of a day spent golfing against the backdrop of Lake Garda.
Because of the area's mild climate, you can golf all year round.
The most striking clubhouses on the eastern shore of the lake are the Golf Club Paradiso del Garda in Peschiera del Garda and the Ca’ degli Ulivi in Marciaga di Costermano.
Each course features 18 holes. The former is modern in its design, with 5 lakes and a 4 hole course for beginners; the latter, Ca’ degli Ulivi features a breathtaking view over Lake Garda and offers a second course with 9 holes, the Mirabello, as well as a store with all the gear you need. Right from the start of spring, courses for beginners and tournaments for all levels of play are organized. As well as providing caddy service and use of the locker rooms, the golf clubs offer their guests the chance to savor the delicacies served in their restaurants.
Further from the lake, in Sommacampagna, is the Golf Club Verona, one of the pride and joys of Veneto. With an 18-hole course surrounded by vineyards, this club is very committed to a careful and conscientious environmental policy and has obtained the ‘Committed to green’ European recognition, for safeguarding nature, managing waste, saving energy and water. The Golf Club Villafranca is also situated some way from the lake, on the hill of Custoza, boasting an 18 hole course and a 9 hole, short course.
On the Brescia side of Lake Garda there are three demanding golf courses, each of them with 27 holes and striking because of the surrounding landscapes: the Arzaga Golf Club, in Calvagese, the Chervò Golf Club, in Pozzolengo, and the Garda Golf Country Club, in Soiano del Lago, one of the technically most challenging.
