Parco Natura Viva

Località Quercia - Bussolengo

Established in 1969, Parco Natura Viva is a modern zoological garden, an important centre for the protection of threatened and endangered species, which has evolved over time to take an active role in the conservation of biodiversity.

42 hectares of moraine hill and oak forest, divided into two sections, which can be visited with ONE ticket:

SAFARI: you can visit it in your own car or you can take one of the jeeps (paid service, reservation required). It houses African animals such as giraffes, rhinoceros, antelopes, zebras, cheetahs and hyenas. Visit duration: approximately 40 minutes (variable depending on the number of visitors).

FAUNISTIC: walking trail, divided into the 5 continents. More than 150 species of animals, including tigers, lions, chimpanzees, kangaroos, lynxes and vultures, as well as parrots, alpacas, bison and tapirs. Also part of the wildlife trail are the Extinction Park, a section dedicated to extinct animals with a focus on dinosaurs; a Farm where you can feed the baby goats; and the House of Giants, a greenhouse dedicated to the giants and dwarfs of the animal kingdom: komodo dragons, giant tortoises, dwarf crocodiles, green anaconda and many other animals. Recommended visit duration: 3-4 hours.
Inside the pedestrian section you'll find refreshment points to suit all tastes, play areas for children, picnic areas where you can rest and enjoy your packed lunch, and toilets where you can freshen up.

Advice for visitors to the Park
On the busiest days, especially on holidays and at weekends, it’s best to start your visit to the Park with a walk through the Fauna Park, so as to avoid the queues and slowdowns you’re liable to encounter for the trip round the Safari Park by car.
