For lovers of wind on the face and adventure, there are several sailing schools that offer courses and boats suitable for some forms of disability, of which the flagship is Archè: an accessible sailing boat of 12 meters, moored in Riva del Garda, equipped with large seats in complete safety and guided by two experienced skippers with expertise in the care sector.

A holiday full of adrenaline and freedom in contact with nature on Lake Garda can only include sports such as kitesurfing and climbing: over the years these activities too have been structured with an important sensitivity towards sporty people with different characteristics - this is why many schools offer facilities and courses entirely dedicated to them.

The paraclimbing wall of the Placche of Baone in Arco, the scene of various international competitions, is known all over the world and it is also the first barrier-free crag with the trail signs also written in the Braille alphabet.

Finally, there are many solutions to explore the area and its fascinating villages, many structured in flat and well-paved walks along the lake. A suggestion to spend a day immersed in the beauties of the city is a visit to the village of Sirmione: an enchanting destination, rich in history and that can be explored even on a wheelchair.

The entrance to car traffic is reserved for residents and the disabled, moreover the fascinating monuments such as the Rocca Scaligera, the Grottoes of Catullus and the palace of Maria Callas are equipped with numerous attentions, such as the entrances to the rooms at least 85 cm wide, buttons in Braille and perfectly equipped toilets.
