Pacengo di Lazise
Pacengo is located directly along the Gardesana, about 5 km to the south of Lazise, of which it is a fraction.
It's a small center of fishermen that was denominated Pacingus already around 1000 (probably with a Langobardic or Germanic origin) where you can find several campsites and villages.
During the First Italian Independence War there were a lot of conflicts between Austrians and Piedmonteses, whereas after a while Prince Ferdinand of Savoy was hosted for the siege in Peschiera del Garda.
The harbour is very nice and suggestive and represents a green area surrounded by pebble beaches where you can relax or, if you are a bike lover, take the bike path to Peschiera del Garda.
